Emissions Test in Red Cloud, NE

Getting it done

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Red Cloud. What it involves: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

What to send us

You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. A person replies within one business day. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done.

Car care, briefly

Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.

Before the shop starts

Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.

A note on distance

We do not have a location in Red Cloud; CarmaCars works out of Toronto. Our deliveries stop at about 250 km from Toronto; Red Cloud is roughly 1,640 km away.

If we do not know a shop in Red Cloud, we say so rather than guess. Planning to bring the car to Toronto? Tell us when, and we arrange the shop. Write to us with the dates and the place, and we will give you a straight answer. Note that our prices are shown in Canadian dollars.
