Emissions Test in Riverview, MA

Getting it done

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Riverview. What it involves: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

Who does what

Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer.

Good habits for your car

Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.

A short checklist

Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history.
