What CarmaCars does here

The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. A person replies within one business day.

Before the shop starts

Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour.

Car care, briefly

Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Look at the tire tread before long trips.
