Emissions Test in Ruby Valley, NV

Emissions Test for Ruby Valley

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 2,987 km from Ruby Valley, and does not do this work itself. An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

The steps

The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare.

Good habits for your car

Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.

Before the shop starts

Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.
