How the request works

Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. A person replies within one business day.

Good habits for your car

If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.

Talking to the shop

Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon.
