Emissions Test in Sisson, NY

Emissions Test: how we help

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Sisson. What it involves: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

What to send us

We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done.

Before the shop starts

Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.

Between shop visits

Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.
