Emissions Test in Slaughter Flat, Philo

Emissions Test: how we help

For an emissions test in Slaughter Flat, know first that CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works in the Toronto area. In short: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

How the arrangement works

A person replies within one business day. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile.

Getting a clear quote

Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.

Between shop visits

If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.
