What CarmaCars does here

We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. A person replies within one business day. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.

Between shop visits

Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.
