Emissions Test in Solomons, MD

Emissions Test: how we help

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 649 km from Solomons, and does not do this work itself. Plainly: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

What to send us

We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer.

A short checklist

Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies.

Small things that help

Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair.
