Emissions Test in Sonora, MO

Arranging the work in Sonora

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Sonora is about 1,397 km away. The job: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

How the arrangement works

The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive.

Before the shop starts

Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.

Small things that help

Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.
