Emissions Test in Springbrook Manor, MD

Emissions Test in Springbrook Manor

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Springbrook Manor. An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

The steps

The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive.

Between shop visits

Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.

Talking to the shop

If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there.
