Emissions Test in Springfield, IL

Arranging the work in Springfield

Emissions Test in Springfield: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. What it involves: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

What CarmaCars does here

You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in.

Car care, briefly

Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Look at the tire tread before long trips.

Before the shop starts

Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies.
