Emissions Test in Stanly, CA

Getting it done

We arrange an emissions test through shops in the Toronto area. We have no location in Stanly. In short: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

Our part and the shop's part

You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. A person reads every request and replies with the next step. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you.

Good habits for your car

Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.

What to ask

Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
