Emissions Test in Straw, MT

Emissions Test: how we help

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 2,396 km from Straw, and does not do this work itself. Plainly: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

How the arrangement works

Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.

Car care, briefly

Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can.
