Emissions Test in Stronetta, CA

Emissions Test in Stronetta

Emissions Test in Stronetta: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

The steps

If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins.

Between shop visits

Check that all lights work every few weeks. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Look at the tire tread before long trips.

A short checklist

Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.

What we cover
