Emissions Test in Sunset, ME

Arranging the work in Sunset

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Sunset. The job: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

From request to repair

We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. A person reads every request and replies with the next step. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental.

Car care, briefly

Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.

A short checklist

Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history.
