What to send us

Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. A person replies within one business day. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.

Car care, briefly

Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Check that all lights work every few weeks.
