Emissions Test in Tambo, CA

Emissions Test in Tambo

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Tambo is about 3,521 km away. The job: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

What CarmaCars does here

Your request reaches a person, not a machine. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.

Car care, briefly

Check that all lights work every few weeks. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell.

Talking to the shop

Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.
