Emissions Test in Tandy, MS

Emissions Test in Tandy

Emissions Test in Tandy: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. In short: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

From request to repair

Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location.

Questions to ask the shop

If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there.

Small things that help

Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring.
