Emissions Test in Tecate, Baja California

Getting it done

We arrange an emissions test through shops in the Toronto area. We have no location in Tecate. Plainly: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

How the request works

A person replies within one business day. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare.

Between shop visits

If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.

A short checklist

Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.
