Getting it done

What to send us

We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. A person reads every request and replies with the next step. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price.

Small things that help

Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.

Talking to the shop

Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree.
