Emissions Test in Terminous

For an emissions test in Terminous, know first that CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works in the Toronto area. The job: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

Our part and the shop's part

Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location.

Between shop visits

Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.

Getting a clear quote

If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.
