Emissions Test in Trace, WV

Emissions Test near Trace

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Trace. What this is: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

What we arrange

Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in.

Before the shop starts

Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.

Small things that help

If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow.

Honest about Trace
