Emissions Test in Turtle River, MN

Getting it done

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Turtle River is about 1,274 km away. An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

How we help

You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in.

Car care, briefly

If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow.

A short checklist

Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare.
