Emissions Test in Upton, Temecula

Arranging the work in Upton

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Upton is about 3,440 km away. What it involves: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

How the arrangement works

We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair.

Talking to the shop

Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.

Good habits for your car

Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.

Reach and distance
