Emissions Test in Vaqueros, Durango

Getting it done

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Vaqueros is about 3,066 km away. The job: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

What we arrange

The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare.

A short checklist

Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.

Small things that help

Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Look at the tire tread before long trips.
