Emissions Test in Wamic

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 3,298 km from Wamic, and does not do this work itself. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

What CarmaCars does here

If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work.

Car care, briefly

Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow.

Getting a clear quote

Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history.
