Emissions Test: how we help
For an emissions test in Wayne County, know first that CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works in the Toronto area. What this is: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.
From request to repair
Your request reaches a person, not a machine. A person reads every request and replies with the next step. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in.
Keep moving meanwhile
We deliver the rental to you and collect it when your car is ready. A rental bridges the days your car is at the shop. Free pickup at our location is always an option.
Between shop visits
Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Check that all lights work every few weeks.
What to ask
Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare.
When you know your dates
A request is free and gets a reply within one business day.
