Engine Repair in Ames, TX

Engine Repair: how we help

If you need engine work in Ames: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

How we help

A person replies within one business day. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive.

A short checklist

Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.

Car care, briefly

Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.

Our area

One more step
