Engine Repair in Andersons Corner, VA

Getting it done

If you need engine work in Andersons Corner: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

Our part and the shop's part

You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car.

Small things that help

Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.

Before the shop starts

Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare.
