Engine Repair in Au Gres, MI

Arranging the work in Au Gres

For engine work in Au Gres, know first that CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works in the Toronto area. Plainly: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.

Who does what

We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.

Car care, briefly

Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow.

Talking to the shop

Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree.
