Engine Repair in Bascom, OH

Engine Repair: how we help

Engine Repair in Bascom: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. Plainly: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.

What to send us

If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work.

Getting a clear quote

Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies.

Between shop visits

Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.
