Engine Repair in Batson

Engine Repair in Batson: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. The job: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.

The steps

The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop.

Before the shop starts

Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare.

Between shop visits

Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.

A note on distance
