Engine Repair in Berkeley, WV

Getting it done

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Berkeley. What this is: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

How the request works

The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. Your request reaches a person, not a machine. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare.

Before the shop starts

Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.

Between shop visits

Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.

Honest about distance

You will not find a CarmaCars location in Berkeley; we work from Toronto. Berkeley is about 486 km from our location in Toronto in a straight line, beyond the 250 km we deliver to.

If the car can come to the Toronto area, we can arrange a trusted shop there. We know shops around Toronto best; for Berkeley, we say plainly what we can do. For anything about Berkeley, a request reaches a person who answers honestly. Every price here is in Canadian dollars.
