Engine Repair in Big Pine, CA

Engine Repair: how we help

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 3,349 km from Big Pine, and does not do this work itself. Plainly: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.

How the arrangement works

We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental.

Talking to the shop

If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.

Car care, briefly

Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.
