Engine Repair in Carson, OR

Getting it done

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Carson is about 2,990 km away. Plainly: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.

What we arrange

The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.

Car care, briefly

Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell.
