Engine Repair in Como, NC

Arranging the work in Como

Engine Repair in Como: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. What it involves: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

How the request works

A person reads every request and replies with the next step. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price.

Good habits for your car

Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.
