Engine Repair in Davis, CA

Engine Repair in Davis

We arrange engine work through shops in the Toronto area. We have no location in Davis. What this is: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

From request to repair

Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.

A short checklist

Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice.

Between shop visits

Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires.
