Engine Repair in Devizes

Getting it done

CarmaCars arranges engine work for drivers in Devizes through trusted shops, and rents you a car meanwhile. Plainly: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

What we arrange

We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop.

A car meanwhile

Keep moving with a rental while your car is at the shop, by the day at our usual rates. A rental keeps the school run and the commute on track. You can also collect the car at our location in Toronto at no charge.

Good habits for your car

Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive.

Getting a clear quote

Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.
