Engine Repair in Dwight Fields, LA

Arranging the work in Dwight Fields

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Dwight Fields is about 1,864 km away. In short: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

What we arrange

If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. A person replies within one business day. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you.

Between shop visits

Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour.
