Engine Repair in El Codey, Baja California Sur

Getting it done

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 3,552 km from El Codey, and does not do this work itself. Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

How the arrangement works

The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done.

Before the shop starts

Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.

Between shop visits

Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can.
