Engine Repair in Enos, IL

Getting it done

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Enos is about 1,021 km away. Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

Who does what

The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car.

What to ask

Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare.

Between shop visits

Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive.
