Engine Repair in Erwin, IL

Getting it done

If you need engine work in Erwin: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. In short: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

How the arrangement works

You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. A person replies within one business day. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair.

Before the shop starts

Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history.

Between shop visits

Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.

What CarmaCars covers
