Engine Repair in Five Points, OH

Engine Repair in Five Points

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Five Points is about 620 km away. The job: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

Who does what

If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins.

Between shop visits

Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.

A short checklist

Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.
