Engine Repair in Friars, TX

Engine Repair in Friars

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 1,870 km from Friars, and does not do this work itself. Plainly: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.

What to send us

We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare.

Small things that help

Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.

Talking to the shop

Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.
