Engine Repair in Graphite

Engine Repair in Graphite

CarmaCars arranges engine work for drivers in Graphite through trusted shops, and rents you a car meanwhile. The job: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.

How the arrangement works

We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We can deliver a rental car to you while yours is at the shop. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.

A car meanwhile

Keep the rental as long as the shop needs your car. When the shop is done, we collect the rental from you. Coming to us instead? Pickup at our location is free.

Car care, briefly

Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring.

What to ask

Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree.
