Engine Repair in Isleton, CA

Getting it done

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Isleton is about 3,570 km away. The job: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.

Our part and the shop's part

Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done.

Getting a clear quote

Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare.

Small things that help

Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.
