Engine Repair in Lambourne Downs, MD

Getting it done

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 518 km from Lambourne Downs, and does not do this work itself. What this is: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

What we arrange

You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare.

Talking to the shop

Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.

Good habits for your car

Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance.
