Engine Repair in Lompoc, CA

Engine Repair: how we help

If you need engine work in Lompoc: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

How the request works

Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. A person reads every request and replies with the next step. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental.

Talking to the shop

Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree.

Small things that help

Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.
