Engine Repair in Lost Gap, MS

Getting it done

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Lost Gap. What this is: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

What to send us

We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer.

What to ask

If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.

Small things that help

Check that all lights work every few weeks. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.
